lifeisagummy.com is a personal journaling and social identity web application that allows users to log daily moods and discover anonymous connections with others who share similar experiences. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.
3. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service, including journal entries, profile information, and any other data (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and use your User Content solely to operate and improve the Service. We may use anonymized or aggregated data derived from User Content to power matching and discovery features. You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license.
4. No Professional Advice
The Service is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing in the Service should be interpreted as such. Do not disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or experienced on the Service.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, accuracy, or non-infringement. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without prior notice or liability to you. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

The Service is built on third-party infrastructure including Supabase and Vercel. We are not responsible for any actions, omissions, policies, or practices of these third-party services. Your use of the Service is also subject to their respective terms of service.
9. Privacy
We collect and store the data you provide (email address, journal entries, profile information) to operate the Service. Journal entries used for matching are processed as anonymized vectors — we never share identifiable emotional data with other users without your explicit action (the “reveal” feature). We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised Terms at this URL. We will update the “Last Updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in California.
